The decision to move the 4th Americas meeting to Mexico City reflects our intention to encourage greater participation from Latin and Central America and to ensure that our meeting truly represents all of the Americas.

In Colombia, there is a considerable need to develop partnerships between local and international education institutions in order to expand the capacity and quality of public education provision. In light of the expansion of Colombia’s oil and gas industry, like Mexico, the country will require an influx of skilled labour entering the industry.

In the context of this constrained oil price environment, companies are undertaking initiatives to reduce the cost of learning and development programmes whilst maintaining the same standard of provision. We look at how the current environment is encouraging ingenuity and innovation.
