Lorena Patterson


Lorena Patterson is responsible for Stakeholder Relations in Mexico. She joined TransCanada in 2005 and since then has assisted with developing and putting into service the Tamazunchale Pipeline, the Manzanillo – Guadalajara Pipeline, the Tamazunchale Extension, and the El Encino – Mazatlan Pipeline. Prior to joining TransCanada, Ms. Patterson was the official Representative of the Government of Alberta in Mexico at the Canadian Embassy. During her posting she received the Premier’s Award of Excellence for Public Service. She was also awarded the Canada Governor General’s award by Governor General Michaelle Jean in 2010 for having made significant contributions to Canada – Mexico relations. Lorena holds a bachelor’s degree in International Development from Dalhousie University and a dual MBA form the University of Texas at Austin and the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
