Candita Victoria Gil Jimenez

Director General

Candita was born in the State of Tabasco (Southern Mexico), her philosophy of life and work is based on commitment and results.

As Secretary of Controllership of the Government of Tabasco during the period 2002-2004, she promoted the culture of accountability and transparency management of resources in the state agencies, she also modernized and systematized the main processes and procedures under ISO 9001: 2000 in addition to improve the Control, Evaluation and Audit of Government Public Administration System.

She was the first Principal of the “Universidad Juárez Autonóma de Tabasco” (UJAT) during the period 2004-2008, after an academic career of over 20 years performing duties as Coordinator of Research and Graduate Studies, Secretary of Administrative Services and Secretary of Academic Services, she earned sufficient merits to the university community during her first period that allowed her serving a second period as Principal from 2008 to 2012, a period in which she also served as Commissioner of the Mexican Consortium of Universities (CUMex)

Candita Gil Jimenez, is an active member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), was candidate as a senator of the Republic by the alliance PRI-PVEM “Commitment to Mexico” in 2012. She is currently the CEO of the National College of Professional Technical Education, first woman to take this responsibility.
